What does that really mean?

I came across this today in an article. It made me laugh but at the same time made me think Oh My Goodness! I am by far, one of the worst with run on sentences and fragments. I am also very grateful for spellcheck. Can you find the error in this below? Do you really want to purchase this item to help your child get better test scores on the SAT?

Seen during a conference:
FOR ANYONE WHO HAS CHILDREN AND DOESN’T KNOW IT, THERE IS A DAY CARE ON THE 1ST FLOOR

On a repair shop door:
WE CAN REPAIR ANYTHING. (PLEASE KNOCK HARD ON THE DOOR - THE BELL DOESN’T WORK)
