I was just going through my favorites folders and ran across your blog. What a fun time to read it and see all your pictures from Cancun. You picked a great time to go...brrr here in the midwest! I loved the picture of the kids with their backs to the camera. Very impressive!! If you don't enlarge it for your mantle, I'll do it FOR you! Glad you had fun. Also enjoyed reading about your encounters with the guy from the Chinese restaurant. -- Julie
I am a pediatric OT and a mom of four terrific kids ages 7-13. I have been an OT for 17 years now graduating from Kansas University. I have worked in public schools, in pediatric therapy clinics, and as a contract pediatric Occupational Therapist. My most favorite role is that of mom. I homeschool my 4 kids and several afternoons a week, I see kids, birth through high school, privately in my home for Occupational Therapy. I also contract with Paths to Independence, a school for children with Autism. Like other OT blogs, this is a place for me to share my thoughts, ideas, and activities for parents, friends, and others. I am not giving medical advice, just sharing resources and activities that I found helpful. I welcome any suggestions, comments, questions, and feedback.
